The Chester County Family Resource Center helps meet the needs of students, parents, and the community in the areas of hunger, poverty, neglect, attendance and homelessness. The Family Resource Center works closely with Coordinated School Health to help students have a more comfortable school experience.
Coordinated School Health connects physical, emotional and social health with education through eight interrelated components.This coordinated approach improves students’ health and their capacity to learn through the support of families, communities and schools working together.
Coordinated School Health works with many partners to address school health priorities. Being housed in Eagles’ Edge along with the Family Resource Programs allows the two to combine services and be more award of student and staff needs.
